A 23-year-old male suspect
has been arrested for a stabbing in the Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue area. The accused is facing three charges, including aggravated assault, possession of a dangerous weapon and theft under $5,000 following his arrest on July 6. On June 29, at 3:28 p.m., officers responded to a call on the concourse level of a commercial building at 2210 Yonge St. The accused is alleged to have engaged in an unprovoked argument with the male victim before producing a knife and stabbing the victim three times. The two were not known to each other before the attack.
