KOHAI LIFE |
Independent Continuing Education Programme
Kohai LIFE is geared towards those aged 18 years and older who wish to continue learning and developing functional academic, life and social skills while having fun in small groups. Running 50 weeks per year, participants can choose to attend part-time or full-time. Themed programming includes cooking, grocery shopping, taking the TTC, employment skills, work placements, social activities and fitness. At Kohai, we’ve been working with individuals with special needs and learning challenges for over 45 years using a behaviourist approach and small group model. In this new life skill development programme, we’re pleased to offer expanded daytime, evening and summer programming for adults to encourage dynamic participation in activities with peers and well as in the wider community. It’s a great way to continue learning after high school while building skills for independent living or the workplace. Kohai LIFE - Living Independently with Friends Every Day.
