The art­work of Jenn Tam in­vokes pas­sion and deep emo­tions draw­ing out sen­sa­tions of eu­pho­ria and nostal­gia. Her vi­brant use of colour stim­u­lates the senses and is beau­ti­ful to look at. Jenn boldly breaks the mold of a tra­di­tional artist with her unique cre­ativ­ity and her tal­ent tran­scends one modal­ity and style. Jenn Tam por­trays a wide range of sub­ject mat­ter in her work, from ab­stract to re­al­ism. With her unique mixed media tech­nique show­cas­ing her bold style, each piece of art has mul­ti­ple lay­ers of com­plex­ity. By us­ing a wide va­ri­ety of dif­fer­ent tech­niques, one is aware of the in­vest­ment of time, thought and emo­tion in her work. The heart of her work is show­cased in her un­usual and strik­ing pieces such as ‘Lava’ and ‘Phoenix Ris­ing’. One feels caught in the strands of move­ment and colour. The ex­tent of Jenn’s pas­sion and gift for art reaches not only to the can­vas but she is also an ex­tremely ac­com­plished mu­si­cian. Jenn has achieved a Mas­ters’ de­gree in both pi­ano per­for­mance from the Univer­sity of South Florida and at­tained the high­est level of recog­ni­tion from the Royal Con­ser­va­tory of Mu­sic in Canada for per­for­mance in both pi­ano and vi­o­lin. She has also been granted the li­cen­ti­ate de­gree for musical per­for­mance from the London (Eng­land) Col­lege of Mu­sic and per­formed at mas­ter classes held by world renowned con­cert pi­anists in Europe.
