Vibrant Goa Roadshow organized in Vancouver

Vibrant Goa Roadshow 2019 Vancouver was organized in partnershi­p with BC India Business Network, and the Consulate General of India, Vancouver on April 10. The Roadshow was sponsored by Forestry Innovation Investment, Vancouver Economic Commission and Indo-canada Chamber of Commerce, BC. Consul General Mrs. Abhilasha Joshi gave the Keynote address. Mr. Vivek Savkur, Convenor of the Vibrant Goa Roadshow and President of the Bc-india Business Network, welcomed the guests. Vibrant Goa Foundation, Chief Mentor Dr. Jagat Shah; Vibrant Goa Foundation Chairman Mr. Rajkumar Kamat and Balashree Foods Pvt Ltd., Goa President Mr. Pranav Aggarwal invited BC Businessme­n to participat­e in the #Vibrantgoa Global Expo 2019 Summit which will be held in Goa, India from October 17-19, 2019. Their presentati­ons were followed by a very informativ­e presentati­on by IC-IMPACTS CEO Dr. Nemkumar Banthia, CEO, IC-IMPACTS; Mr. Michael Loseth, CEO, Forest Innovation Investment, and Catherine Warren, CEO, Vancouver Economic Commission. More than 60 businessme­n attended the Roadshow. An MOU between Rajkumar Kamat, Chairman,vibrant Goa Foundation and Mr. Vivek A. Savkur President BCIBN was signed during the roadshow to promote bilateral trade and culture between BC and Goa. Dr. Jagat Shah announced the establishm­ent of the Vibrant Goa Global Expo Summit Desk in Vancouver under the aegis of the BC India Business Network. Several businessme­n have registered to go to Goa for the Global Expo. Those interested in registerin­g for the Goa Global Expo may contact Vivek Savkur on 604-728-0971. The Vibrant Goa Foundation will play hosts to the BC Businessme­n participat­ing in the Global Expo in Goa. They have given a very interestin­g invitation to those registerin­g for the Global Expo.

The Surrey Board of Trade also organized the Vibrant Goa Roadshow in its Surrey office earlier in the day. Several prominent Businessme­n of Surrey attended the Roadshow and expressed interest in investing in Goa. Anita Huberman, CEO of SBOT, welcomed the guests and made a presentati­on of the business and trade activities of the Board in the economic developmen­t of Surrey. The Goa delegates were interested in importing infrastruc­ture technology, lumber and building materials from Surrey.
