Canadian writer and scholar Jaiteg Singh Anant awarded for his book named ‘Gadri Yodhe’ by Language Department Punjab
Surrey: A renowned artist, writer from local Surrey is being awarded with Principal Teja Singh Memorial award for his book “Gadri Yodhe”. This award is being awarded in the Month of November at Samagam for Mother language Punjabi. Jaiteg Singh Anant is living in Surrey, Canada from last 22 years. He is known as person with noble soul, a good friend and known for his multiple achievements in life. He is known for his love for Punjabi language, Literature, and Punjabi culture. Jaiteg is a great Photojournalist, Historian and believe in social service. He is a bridge between the Lehnda and Charda Punjab. To promote the Punjabi culture and heritage, Jaiteg has published more than one and Half dozen books. Jaiteg has pubmished three books on Punjab golden sparrow “Bhai sahib Bhai Randhir Singh Ji” Three of the books are written on Sirdar Kapur Singh ji and two books are from renowned Poet “Ustad Daman” from Lehnda Punjab (Lahore). He was working Honorary as bureau chief at Monthly magazine “Lehran” from Lahore. He also provides articles, news for other major newspapers in Canada and India.
