A male sus­pect driv­ing

a white mini­van al­legedly posed as an Uber driver in late April and sex­u­ally as­saulted a fe­male vic­tim in the Mount Pleas­ant Road and Bloor Street East area. On April 28, at ap­prox­i­mately 2 a.m., a 19-year-old wo­man got into a van driven by a man claim­ing to be an Uber driver in the Bloor Street West and Madi­son Av­enue area. She was driven to a se­cluded area near Mount Pleas­ant and Bloor and was sex­u­ally as­saulted by the sus­pect. She was able to fight him off and es­cape. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion is asked to con­tact po­lice.

Toronto Po­lice Ser­vice

(TPS) of­fi­cers are search­ing for a male sus­pect ac­cused of stab­bing a vic­tim in­side the Spad­ina sub­way sta­tion. On May 20, at 3:58 p.m., of­fi­cers re­sponded to a call about a stab­bing at the sta­tion. It is re­ported that a 46-year-old male vic­tim was stand­ing in the pedes­trian tun­nel that con­nects lines 1 and 2 when he was ap­proached from be­hind by an un­known sus­pect and stabbed with an un­known ob­ject. The sus­pect then fled the sta­tion. A de­scrip­tion of the sus­pect has been posted on the TPS web­site. He is be­lieved to be vi­o­lent, armed and danger­ous.

A stab­bing in the Em­press Walk

area has led to the ar­rest of a 23year-old male, of Toronto, charged with at­tempted mur­der and ag­gra­vated as­sault. On May 8, at 7 p.m., a 22-year-old male vic­tim was stabbed re­peat­edly in the North York shop­ping com­plex. He was taken to hos­pi­tal with life-threat­en­ing in­juries. The Toronto Po­lice Ser­vice (TPS) ar­rested a male sus­pect later that same day and has also charged him with car­ry­ing a con­cealed weapon. Any­one who wit­nessed the fight that oc­curred prior to the in­ci­dent is urged to con­tact po­lice.
