A young male vic­tim is dead af­ter at­tempt­ing to flee from po­lice on his mo­tor­cy­cle. On Sun­day, Nov. 11, Toronto Po­lice Ser­vice of­fi­cers pulled over the mo­tor­cy­clist who was trav­el­ling on High­way 401 near the Les­lie Street ramp. As the of­fi­cer ex­ited his car and ap­proached the rider, the vic­tim de­cided to make a run for it and sped away. He pro­ceeded to go down the west­bound ramp, go­ing in the wrong di­rec­tion, and crashed into an in­com­ing ve­hi­cle. There were no in­juries to the pas­sen­gers in the car, but the rider died at the scene.

Three males sus­pects have been ar­rested in re­la­tion to a se­ries of rob­beries that oc­curred on Yonge be­tween Shep­pard and Finch. From Oct. 25 to 30, po­lice re­sponded to seven in­ci­dents in this area. It’s al­leged, the sus­pects, driv­ing a sedan, fol­lowed the vic­tims and pro­ceeded to rob them of all valu­ables. The three are charged with five counts of rob­bery in­clud­ing rob­bery with a firearm, rob­bery with in­tent and two counts of posses­sion of prop­erty ob­tained by crime. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion about these in­ci­dents is asked to con­tact Toronto Po­lice Ser­vice.

Toronto Po­lice Ser­vice (TPS) has ar­rested a 29-year-old male sus­pect in two as­sault in­ves­ti­ga­tions. On Sept. 26, Po­lice re­ceived a call for an as­sault in the area of Yonge Street and Run­berry Court. Po­lice re­ported that the as­sault took place in an el­e­va­tor. An­other in­ci­dent oc­curred on Oct. 19, when of­fi­cers re­sponded to a call in the Yonge Street and Cum­mer Av­enue area, where they found a 56-year-old male vic­tim suf­fer­ing from stab wounds. The ac­cused is fac­ing mul­ti­ple charges, in­clud­ing as­sault with a weapon and car­ry­ing a con­cealed weapon.
