Offering originality and eloquence with bold design elements and exquisite details, they guide the homeowner with their investment, striving to maximize each client’s wish list within their budget. “We work closely with the client to help them grasp their vision, sharing knowledge as to where to spend their money for maximum value and impact,” states Vice President of Operations, Kevin Kentel.

A prolific and enduring custom home builder in Edmonton for nearly thirty years, their newest show home in Keswick on the River features a Mid-century Modern facade that hosts consistent decors. The Cosmos IV displays a delightful view of sophisticated warmth, luxury, and soaring features. “We wanted an awe-inspiring feel with views from the back, a two-level great room, and walnut ceiling details throughout,” admits Kentel, adding that it’s a great family home for entertaining with open layouts and all three upper bedrooms enjoying their own ensuite.

The lower level features a large array of at-home entertainments and singular style with a central wet bar separating games room and lounge areas. A fourth bedroom, bath, and exercise room complete this bright and engaging level that captures 1,400 square feet of casual flows. A two-story walkout, the main and second floors host 3,295 square feet of elegant living spaces with a wealth of attractions.

Although large in scale, the home is highly efficient and hosts a high calibre of green features that includes an air barrier EIFS acrylic stucco system, comprehensive LED lighting, a high efficiency furnace with HRV, and a boiler for hydronic heat that warms the basement, garage, and tiled floor surfaces. Triple-glazed and argon-filled, low-e windows round out a thoughtful array of energy-saving offerings. “At Aacropolis we follow the ‘Prescriptive not Performance Path’ when entering into permitting, meaning every home we build is to a higher standard and not the bare minimum,” shares Kentel.

Other stand out features includes the walnut staircase with glass insert railing that is style appropriate and airy, offering unobstructed views and artful craftsmanship. “The reviews have been awesome,” admits Kentel. “It’s a remarkable home that is very classy with well thought out and usable layouts that maximize function and appeal. People often remark on its open, grand feel that is warm and inviting.” Proud members of the Alberta New Home Warranty Program, Aacropolis ensures that each home is custom built with care. Committed to implementing innovation, emerging technologies, and inimitable designs, each home addresses exemplary function and efficiency with a beauty that is uniquely its own. “We expect and receive the best standard in craftsmanship from our subcontractors who know what we want and often exceed the expectations of our clientele,” states Kentel.

When building with Aacropolis, you are choosing a boutique builder who cares. ‘’As a client you are not just a number, you work directly with an owner,” he adds. “Our in-house designs are some of the most imaginative and functional available. With this home we modified a past design that was very successful, wanting to explore grandeur and scale.”
