Peachwood Custom Cabinets can help make your kitchen dreams a reality. For over a quarter-century Peachwood has provided their clients with more flexibility, more choices, and more value, creating comprehensive custom styling for every room in the home.

“As a designer and manufacturer of cabinets and millwork, we also build home theatres, bars, libraries, bathrooms, and other architectural millwork features, providing a cohesive décor for the entire home,” shares owner, Mark Smithies. “Our clients appreciate the attention to detail and the fit and finish that everything custom provides.”

This homeowner of Wolf Willow Ridge in Edmonton wanted a bright and functional design. Featuring Winter White Shaker cabinets, its sprayed automotive paint finish offers a hardness and depth versus standard pigmented lacquers. “Over the years I have had the opportunity to discern the advantages of different finishes—which stands the test of time and what ultimately provides the best quality,” notes Smithies. “What is currently trending is less glossy and more matte finishes with straight-grained and sequenced, book-matched veneers surging in popularity.”

BLUM, full extension, soft-close drawers and pull out recycling centres add function to dual islands surfaced in thick slab quartz with a slimmer profile surfacing perimeter cabinets. The grid-pattern, recessed ceiling features a circular design above the dining room for unique style, while richly stained walnut hardwoods provide a compelling contrast to a smooth assembly of craftsmanship. “We worked with Birkholz Homes and often partner with this custom Edmonton builder who shares our views on quality and design,” states Smithies.

As a boutique cabinetmaker, Peachwood’s smaller volumes allow them to be creatively involved at all levels. “Our clients work directly with myself at every aspect of the design/build and because we also install the cabinetry, there is consistent quality from start to finish,” says Smithies. “The continuity of our process ensures that the end result is the one you want.”
