Fireplaces by Weiss-Johnson

Founded in 2013 and part of the Weiss-Johnson group of companies, Fireplaces by Weiss-Johnson is much more than a quality provider of gas, electric, and wood-burning fireplaces. Making heating sexy, they have reopened their doors to feature their newly renovated showroom at 9315 – 63rd Avenue in Edmonton.

“With 60 fireplaces on display, our recently renovated 5,000-squarefoot showroom exhibits products from the most prominent fireplaces manufacturers around,” says Assistant General Manager, Beverlee Boyd. “Careful attention has been given to the finishing of all of our installed units. Not only will you see what the fireplace will look like in your home before your purchase, you will get countless finishing ideas and be able to select accents for the new addition to your home.”

Recently adding two of Canada’s most respected fireplace manufacturers to their outstanding line of products, Valour and Valcourt fireplaces share a long history of providing Canadians with innovative products that are built to last.

Valcourt’s wood burning fireplaces host a fresh take on an old standard. “Before, we didn’t have a huge line of wood products, but they are gaining in popularity as people are becoming more interested in gasfueled alternatives,” shares Beverlee. With designs that are more clean and contemporary, now homeowners who want to maintain their modern decor can have the warmth, smell, and ambience of a wood-burning fireplace. “Wood burning fireplaces are much cleaner now with the way the units are designed. It’s more of a sealed unit and less open-faced, plus they burn cleaner,” explains Beverlee.

Valour Fireplaces provides unique designs of gas fireplaces, offering a host of interior options and attractive fire bed features with heat kits that allow televisions to be mounted twelve-inches above the fireplace without damage.

The Davinci Custom gas fireplace can be customized in length, height, and viewing area, offering see-through options, or open sides. “We are their exclusive dealer in Alberta. LED lighting comes standard and they have a cool touch surface,” adds Beverlee.

Offering BBQ grills and pellet smokers, they also feature the newest chat tables, fire bowls, and portable and fixed patio heaters to extend the fall season. “We focus on the needs of our custom home clients in terms of what we offer and our service is top notch. Client satisfaction is very important to us,” concludes Beverlee.

stairwell, it hosts the feel of walking under a waterfall. The wine cellar wall also draws the eye amidst a myriad of attractions that capture both superb form and supreme function around every corner.

The final touch for every lakeside residence is expert landscaping. Knowing that lakeside living requires respect for the natural landscape, the home’s grounds evolved in consideration of neighbours, function, and aesthetics. “Guided by the Jansen Group, the clients made superb choices when it came to the comfort level of their home. The walk-in sauna by Culham Custom Woodwork adds warmth in the wintertime and the outdoor fire bowls, with indoor/ outdoor seating on the patios and verandas, offer comfort in the summertime,” shares Klein. “They responded with wonder and joy upon their first home walkthrough.”

“Projects like this do not come together without the close collaboration of all our talented trades. Stellar considers every individual who works on one of our projects a part of our expert team,” concludes Mike Klein.
