Renovation Room

Many of us feel daunted if not outright intimidated when renovating a home, often relying on the builder’s design boards or vague ideas based on a style we like. Yet what if we could get what we really want and create something extraordinary?

“Our showroom hosts a designer curated selection of materials for every part of your home,” shares President of Renovation Room, James Agnew. “No one has done it at this level or scale before. As an advocate for the homeowner, we remove the fear and uncertainty and allow our clients to move forward with confidence.”

Providing a place where all interior and exterior finish selections can be made with an experiened design professional, the Renovation Room guides the client through every phase of a project—from the design and scope of work to a real cost estimate.

“Afterwards, they own it with all of the hard work done. They can then interview contactors with a completed concept or we can help them find a contractor within our group of vetted trades, contractors, and project managers that we have accrued over time based on performance and credibility,” offers Agnew.

Shaving weeks or even months off the selection process, the Renovation Room tackles every inch of your project while addressing not only aesthetics, but function and lifestyle as well. “It’s much more than choosing a pretty tile to achieve a look. It’s about ROI, maintenance, and even aging in place,” adds Bainbridge. “We show our clients what is current, in style, and available in a proper time frame which makes it easier for everyone involved.”

Their 3,300 square foot showroom showcases a very broad spectrum of products and finishes, including home automation, wallpaper and plumbing fixtures. “As part of the process we even explore other venues to help with selections like appliances. We also have a complete library of products that are not displayed, adding a concept-to-completion experience that is timely and on budget,” she concludes. “Ultimately, our clients come away with their own beautiful design signature.”

“Stonewater was such a great builder to work with and we are very glad that they were put forward by Davignon Martin,” she admits. “Their number one priority is quality as well as good communication and they were always available to answer questions or provide advice and information, even on the weekends. I was vastly impressed at the depth of their knowledge on all aspects of the job and we believe that we got everything we wished for, plus a lot more.”

A builder of unlimited style range and achievements that encourages the best from their trades who consistently embrace ingenuity and craftsmanship, Stonewater‘s philosophy is and continues to be building the extraordinary. “We work a lot with Stonewater and with certain long-term relationships you develop a synergy that enhances the process at every stage,” considers Davignon. “We work well together.”

Featuring soaring vaulted volumes enhanced by walnut ceilings, the great room, opposite the dining room, hosts metal-clad windows that match decorative dining room partitions. The dual-sided fireplace exhibits natural stone in a leather finish that edges a rolled steel surround above the wood hearth that is stained to match.
