Delta Moves Some LHR Arrivals and Departure at T3 — Delta Air Lines has moved its arrival and departure terminal to Heathrow’s Terminal 3 for the following routes: London to New York- JFK, London to Boston and London to Seattle.

“From the outset of our partnershi­p with Virgin Atlantic we have been committed to putting the customer rst and creating more competitio­n on trans-Atlantic routes, said Ed Bastian, Delta’s president. “The co-location of our key business ights with Virgin Atlantic at Heathrow is another step forward in delivering against these commitment­s. Together we are offering new routes and more ights this summer and making a real difference for customers.”

The move is aimed at offering customers more choice and exibility while reducing onward transit times.

The Club at PHX Opens — Airport Lounge Developmen­t Inc., (ALD) has announced the opening of the rst and only shared-use airport lounge at Phoenix Sky Harbor Internatio­nal Airport, The Club at PHX. This marks ALD’s sixth club.

The Club at PHX is located past security near the high B gates in Terminal 4, and is available to all passengers traveling out of that terminal. Lounge access is available for $35. The club also welcomes members of Priority Pass, Priority Pass Select and Lounge Club.

United Unveils Heathrow T2 Lounges — United Airlines has unveiled its two lounges for premium customers at London Heathrow Terminal 2. The United Global First Lounge and the United Club are located near the airline’s gates in T2’s satellite concourse. Both facilities feature oor-to-ceiling windows with views of the air eld, luxurious decor and vintage aviation-themed artwork. Both will offer compliment­ary food and beverages, plus free WiFi.

The United Club lounge is for Star Alliance passengers traveling in Business Class. Its features include a 25-seat full service bar, two buffet areas, a TV lounge and seven private phone booths. Next to the United Club are eight shower suites for the use of customers using either the Global First Lounge or the United Club.
