Air Canada Of­fers Five Econ­omy Fares

Air Canada has un­veiled an ex­panded range of North Amer­ica econ­omy fares that are de­signed, the air­line said, to give cus­tomers greater flex­i­bil­ity. The air­line is in­tro­duc­ing a new Com­fort fare that pro­vides sev­eral fea­tures, in­clud­ing com­pli­men­tary ac­cess to Pre­ferred Seats, and the op­tion to pur­chase other ameni­ties such as Maple Leaf Lounge ac­cess.

All Econ­omy fare types of­fer cus­tomers com­pli­men­tary carry-on bag­gage, free in­flight en­ter­tain­ment and the op­tion to pur­chase on­board WiFi ac­cess where avail­able. The dif­fer­ences in­volve fare re­fund­abil­ity, checked-bag fees, loyalty pro­gram ac­crual, lounge ac­cess, ad­vance seat se­lec­tion and other fea­tures. The Econ­omy fare types in­clude, in or­der of flex­i­bil­ity: Lat­i­tude, Com­fort, Flex, Stan­dard and Ba­sic.
