Milan Linate airport is scheduled to close for three months next summer, to allow for work to be done on its runway and terminal building. According to reports, the airport will be closed from July 27, 2019, until Oct. 27, 2019. The majority of flights are expected to be re-routed to the larger Milan Malpensa.

Some of the carriers operating into Milan Linate, which is located only 4 miles from the city center, include Aer Lingus, Air France, British Airways and SWISS.
