HILTON has launched a new brand called Motto by Hilton. The hostel-influenced brand will have urban locations and will offer multi-purpose spaces. Guest rooms are smaller than average, with wall beds, lofted beds and multi-functional furniture that can be stowed when not in use.

Rooms will be connectabl­e and Hilton will allow guests to split payments among more than one person at the time of booking. Motto has developmen­t deals in London, Lima, Dublin, Savannah, San Diego, Boston and Washington, DC, among others.
