Numerous projects available for buyers
Streetside Development Corp. has several multi-family developments in and around Calgary that are still active. These include: Penncross at Crystal Greens in Okotoks — A quiet community just west of Calgary in the vibrant community of Okotoks, it was the bestselling project for Streetside this year.
Bedrooms in the complex are larger than what is typical, and the community has a putting green and outside amenity area.
It’s also next door to the Crystal Green golf course in Okotoks.
Just 66 units remain with prices from $225,000 to $325,000.
Ginger Park at Wentworth on the west side of Calgary — The final phase of these modern townhomes will be released this winter.
On the coveted west side, the complex is adjacent to the area shopping plaza that has everything from a Coop store to a local pub.
Spacious floor plans have large win- dows and high ceilings, and units have average sizes of 1,600 square feet.
Possessions start in January and 50 units remain. Prices are from $382,000 to $425,000.
Red Haus in Royal Oak in northwest Calgary — Just across the street from the ever-expanding shopping and services in Royal Oak, the complex consists of several large apartment buildings and some townhomes, all with distinctive red roofs.
Sales for the project have been active, with homeowners moving into the second building in January.
Just 20 suites remain in the third building and the parkade is now being constructed for the fourth, and final, building.
Besides these developments, two more projects by Streetside Development Corp. will come to market in 2011.
These include a site in Inglewood and a church site in Kensington.
The developer will also release details next year of two more sites in Silverado in southwest Calgary and the new Redstone Qualico community in the northeast.
