For Laurie Gordon, the first couple of weeks as president of Aspire Condo Living by Jayman were a blur — albeit an educational blur.

It included a tour of the company’s multi-family developments in Calgary and Edmonton, getting a feel for what was out there. What did she learn? “There are a lot of opportuni- ties out there to do a lot of different things,” Gordon says from her new corporate digs in southeast Calgary. Shortly after the whirlwind tour, Gordon had already sketched out some preliminary ideas of what she might like to do moving forward.

She wants to tackle more of what she calls Zone 2 development — a term for inner-city communities.
