Kaleidoscope set to brighten city
Six-storey rental complex near LRT first of its kind in more than decade
The transformation of communities along the northwest LRT line is continuing with the announcement of a six-storey rental development.
The latest to get a new look will be Banff Trail, which will become home to Kaleidoscope.
The project will consist of a 70-unit glass, steel and concrete building. It will be constructed by Birchwood Properties Corp. a stone’s throw from two LRT stations on Crowchild Trail, says vice-president Aaron Hamstead.
For Birchwood. this will be its first venture into rental housing.
It will also mark the first time in more than a decade that rental construction has taken place in the close-in regions of the northwest, says Hamstead.
