Sometimes, change is necessary to ensure success. Sometimes, change is good. For Calgary’s housing industry, the economic downturn brought with it a change in the way consumers were thinking.

As a result, it sparked a change in the way builders and developers approached the market. This has been particularly true in multi-family housing, where developers have reviewed their projects and, if possible, made adjustments to project size and prices.

Value is a key word now when marketing homes.

Many multi-family developers are designing or redesigning their projects in response.
