HISTORY ON DOORSTEP
The Guardian is located in one of the city’s oldest neighbourhoods, the Warehouse District of Victoria Park.
This community belongs to the greater southwest inner city district called the Beltline.
Victoria Park is the second oldest neighbourhood in the Beltline district, starting in 1914. Connaught is the oldest in the area, established in 1905.
Known for its assortment of historic buildings, the Beltline is mix of public buildings, retail, office and residential space.
Most residential development in the Beltline is multiunit. The district is bordered by 17th Avenue S.W., 14th Avenue S.W. and the Elbow River.
