IN SHORT

Three Sisters Living at Stewart Creek has plenty to offer the recreation property weekender, as well as permanent residents. The Stewart Creek Golf Course, designed by course architect Gary Browning, has spectacular vistas on its layered fairways and sloped greens. Restored mine entrances are a reminder of Canmore’s coal mining history. A small selection of stores and services — including a corner store, liquor store, spa and doctors — can save a trip to downtown. And Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Academy caters to students in the area.
