In the world of culi­nary com­pe­ti­tion, there are a cou­ple of fresh con­grat­u­la­tions to pass out. First Jon Lord and his Lords of the Grill bar­be­cue team was named Grand Cham­pion of the 20th An­nual BBQ on the Bow. His team now ad­vances to the Amer­i­can Royal World Se­ries of Bar­be­cue in Kansas City and the Jack Daniels In­vi­ta­tional in Lynch­burg, Ten­nessee.

And Colin Met­calfe won the 4th An­nual Rocky Moun­tain Oys­ter Fes­ti­val shuck-off re­cently. His win in­cluded a trip to com­pete in Charlottet­own at the PEI In­ter­na­tional Shell­fish Fes­ti­val.
