U N I T S R E L E A S E D TO DAY Buyers to Jump at townhomes
People looking for a townhome can jump at the opportunity to be at the head of the line as the first units of Slokker Canada West’s new townhome project are being released today in Cochrane.
The pre-construction presentation centre for Jumping Pound Ridge Townhomes opens today at noon.
The townhome complex is planned with 139 units in 21 buildings. There are five floor plans to choose from, ranging from 1,137 to 1,405 square feet.
The Sagestone plan is built on concrete foundations, allowing for walkout or sunshine basements — ones with plenty of windows to let in natural light. The four Heritage floor plans are built slab on grade.
“The land there really lends itself to a fair number of walkouts, or sunshine basements with the much bigger windows,” says project manager Anne Popwell.
Construction is expected to begin this summer, with possessions starting in early 2014.
Show homes will be open on the Jumping Pound Ridge site in late fall this year.
To experience the Sagestone and Heritage floor plans, visit the show homes in other Slokker Canada West developments, including the Townhomes of Chestermere Station in Chestermere.
The show homes at TaraLake Townhomes in northeast Calgary will be opening at the end of April and model these plans. The Heritage plans start in the $240,000s, while the Sagestone model starts in $250,000s. Condo fees have not yet been finalized.
The presentation centre is at 801 George Fox Tr. in Cochrane. It is open weekends and holidays from noon to 5 p.m., and Mondays to Thursdays from 2 to 8 p.m.
