Eco-friendly homes in Cochrane
Landmark Homes launches Cochrane project
A builder known for its eco-friendly homes is bringing a new multi-family project to Cochrane.
Landmark Homes has opened pre-sales on townhouses in the community of Fireside. This is the builder’s first such development in the town.
The project is in Fireside Parkway on a stretch of land that faces west.
It will be offering 29 townhouses starting from the $295,900s and features one standard model called the Lancaster.

“They will be energy eff icient and use all our regular techniques,” says marketing co- ordinator Stuart Wen.
The energy efficiency comes through framing techniques, a programmable thermostat, Energy Star appliances, along with triple-pane windows, lowflow shower heads and faucets, and energy efficient light bulbs.
In the basement, townhouses have a high-efficiency furnace, 95 per cent efficiency tankless water heaters, and drip humidifiers.
The homes boast Craftsman-style detailing with shingles and gables in a design Wen calls “wellappointed.”
All townhouses have decks and come fully landscaped. They also have Fireside Blvd. Fireside is a community master-planned by La Vita Land in south Cochrane. Along with townhouses, Fireside features villas, duplexes and single-family homes.
