Sabal offers a triple delight
Sonik, Syntax and Serif entice buyers
The Sonik is one of three new attached homes in the SabalSmart line offered by Sabal Homes in Mahogany. The Syntax and Serif models round out the offerings.
The Sonik is an attached, twostorey, laned home with 1,181 square feet of space. The plans offer a choice between a three-bedroom or dual master b e d ro o m configuration on the second floor. Wide steps up to the front door, with a slightly sheltered stoop, lend a welcoming air to the home on first approach. The front foyer has a closet for stowing outdoor gear, with stairs to the second floor just past it.
To the left, the home opens up to the great room, a space bright with large windows overlooking the front yard.
Dark, wide-plank flooring and five-panel cabinetry combined with bright white walls, ledges and tile back splash give this open-concept main level a defined and elegant feel.
And it’s the stylish touches that set off this home, subtly defining the open spaces with short walls, bulkheads and stub walls.
The kitchen, for instance, is made intimate with a bulkhead above matching the footprint of the island, with a recessed space holding the chandelier above the end with the built-in table with room for five.
The island runs the length of the kitchen, ending with the slightly dropped dining table. The ledge is extended for an extra three spots facing the working space of the double undermount sink on the quartz-topped island and the gas range on the far wall. The range and oven are centred, with matching upper cabinets and counters, highlighting the modern stainless steel, chimneystyle hood fan.
The wall at the back of the home holds a large window overlooking the backyard. It fills the dining area with natural light.
Next to the dining nook is a setoff hall, with a powder room to the right and the mud room with a closet and the back door to the left.
Upstairs, the Sonik show home illustrates a dual master floor plan. To the right is one master bedroom at the back of the home. A pocket door provides access to the ensuite, which has a shower and single-sink vanity. The walkin closet, with storage to both sides, has a window to add natural light.
The short hall between bedrooms has a linen closet, and a view of the stairs over a stub wall, adding to a sense of space.
The master bedroom at the front of the home benefits from a peaked ceiling. It has separate entrances for its walk-in closet and ensuite, a bathroom with a tub and shower combination.
The basement in the Sonik show home is unfinished, while the adjacent show home, the Syntax, does offer a vision of a fully finished lower level.
The kitchen in the Sonik B show home by Sabal Homes in Mahogany features dark cabinets with a contrasting backsplash. A kitchen island features built-in dining space for five people.
The powder room.
The Sonik B show home has two master bedrooms upstairs — one at the back and one at the front.
There is an ensuite in each of the two master suites in the Sonik B show home.
