The panel named Thursday to help create an environmental monitoring system in Alberta will be co-chaired by Hal Kvisle, retired head of TransCanada Corp., and Howard Tennant, former president of the University of Lethbridge. The other 10 members are: Dr. Warren Kindzierski, professor at the University of Alberta’s School of Public Health.

Dr. Helen Ingram, School of Social Ecology professor at the University of California-Irvine.
Dr. Joseph Rasmussen, professor of biological sciences at the University of Lethbridge.
Dr. Andrew Miall, professor of geology at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Joseph Doucet, energy policy economist in the School of Business at the University of Alberta.
Dr. Ron Wallace, environmental consultant.
David Pryce, vice-president of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers.
Bruce Carson, executive director, Canada School of Energy and Environment, and former senior policy adviser to Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
