Drive to the slopes, ski on Aston Martins

Aston Martin takes to the slopes this winter — not in a specially adapted sports car, but on a brand new, high-tech ski.

Handmade by Austrian ski specialist Difference­s, the exclusive carmaker has developed a core range of skis, produced using four of the latest Aston Martin colours; Morning Frost White, Quantum Silver, Almond Green, Silver Blonde.

According to Aston Martin, the skis are designed to provide the utmost control for slalom and freestyle skiing, the constructi­on of each ski is also well suited to the casual skier.

Conceived as the ultimate all-rounder ski, the race-derived materials make them perfect for all downhill descents, the company says.

As with the latest Aston Martin sportscars, the high-technology constructi­on boasts the latest materials including composites, aluminum and carbon, and can be can be ordered with or without bindings.

Available in the following sizes: 159 cm, 166 cm and 173 cm. Prices range from $806 to $1350.
