ZOMM comes with crafty creators

The mobile phone is an adult pacifier. How else to explain the calm people experience when they peck away at texts and e-mails or the panic experienced when they are cut away from their talk-talk umbilical cord?

The ZOMM Wireless Leash utilizes Bluetooth technology to sound an alarm when an individual wanders six metres from his or her mobile phone.

It also notifies users of incoming calls and provides a convenient — if not altogether featurerich — hands-free solution.

As if that’s not enough, the ZOMM can also be programmed to call a pre-chosen emergency number at the press of a panic button, adding safety utility into the mix.
