Knit an eco-friendly, ‘go-anywhere’ vest

This very versatile vest and spring jacket are a ‘go anywhere’ in style, and can be a talking point among your friends to boot, as it is knit in an eco-friendly wool.

The yarn is a pure wool whereby the sheep are free roaming and receive no impurities or additives in their food. There is no toxin in the dye as it is isn’t dyed, i.e. all natural. There are two versions of this pattern; a one button waistcoat and a one-button spring jacket with collar.

Easy-to-knit instructio­ns are given in six sizes, from bust size 81 cm (32 in.) to 107 cm (42 in.). Knit in Sirdar’s “Eco Wool DK” it requires 6 to 9 – 50 gram balls for the waistcoat and 10 to 14 balls for the jacket. Highlight it with a natural wood or ebony button. Sirdar’s “Eco Wool DK” has 7 natural earthy shades. It is hand washable.
