Trial ordered after day home death
A Medicine Hat woman accused of killing a 19-month-old girl in her custody as a day home operator will stand trial.
Erin Jackman will face arraignment Aug. 18 in Medicine Hat on charges of manslaughter and failure to provide the necessities of life.
The toddler was one of four kids inside the day home in July 2010 when she was seriously injured. She died two days later in hospital from her head injury.
