DUNN, Sarah "Sadie"

January 1, 1934 - March 4, 2012

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Sadie, loving wife and star in the life of husband, Dennis Dunn. She will be greatly missed by sons Wayne (Beth), Stuart (Teresa); daughter Diane (Eric); grandchildren Kristen (Brooke), Andrew, Eric (Joan), Alanna, Kiera, and great-grandson Jacob. Sadie was predeceased by her father Anders Rossum (Norway) and mother Mary Rossum (nee Henderson) (Scotland), who met and married in Jasper National Park where Sadie was born. Although our family was scattered across Canada and the U.S., Sadie was the loving magnet that kept pulling us back together for vacations and anniversaries. She was also loved and will be missed by brother-in-law Drew (Marg) of Whitehorse and their sons Andy, Doug, Robert and Chris; brother-in-law Dave (Carol - deceased) and their children David, Cheryl, Darcy, Donald and Cynthia all in the Ottawa area. Sadie loved our Lord and I am sure is in his loving arms now. A Memorial Service will be held at Varsity Acres Presbyterian Church, 4612 Varsity Drive N.W., Calgary on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., with The Reverend Robert Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 200, 119 - 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6 or a charity of one's choice.
