Local designs hit the runway

EVENT• Calgarians who love a good runway show can now get a regular fashion fix thanks to a new event launching on Tuesday.

Runway Monthly is a series of runway shows that will feature the work of local stylists, designers and boutiques.

The first show on Tuesday, held at The Bank on 8th, will include fashions by stylist Cheryl Mckenzie and designers Pout and NRT, as well as a trunk sale by Nuage 9.

Advance tickets are $12 and the doors open at 7 p.m. For more information, check out runwaymonthly.com.
