Tristar Communities is about to embark on another development in east Calgary.

Belvedere will consist of more than 64 hectares, 14 of which are part of the new Easthills shopping centre — the sister centre to Westhills on Calgary’s west side. The remaining 50 hectares will be residential dwellings.

At final build-out, the community will contain nearly 1,300 homes. The area structure plan is currently under review and should be approved this fall. “We are hoping to have show homes open by the summer of 2013,” says Moez Moledina, general manager of Tristar Communities.
