Trico Homes in Evanston

In the Kennedy, Trico Homes chose a floor plan that pays attention to detail.

The Kennedy is one of 21 show homes that recently opened in Evanston.

For things such as shape and style, many rooms in the two-storey house offer something extra — everything from dropdown beams and art niches, to an open-to-above foyer and a coffered ceiling in the bonus room on the second floor.

The extras also extend to the master bedroom and ensuite. Both spaces are connected by a double-sided fireplace.

From the master bedroom, the fireplace sets the tone for a relaxing evening curled up with a novel. In the ensuite, the fireplace adds an element of luxury overlooking a soaker tub.

The spa-inspired ensuite features tall mirrors with polished edges, two banks of vanity drawers and a shower with full-height tile to the ceiling.

Near the ensuite is a spacious, rectangle-shaped walk-in closet with an organizer.

A unique area on the second floor is its central bonus room.

The multi-functional space is equipped with a built-in entertainment centre on one wall, and a computer station and separate reading nook on the other.

There is also a full bathroom and two spacious secondary bedrooms on the second floor.

The main floor boasts ninefoot ceilings and an openconcept floor plan connecting the great room, kitchen and nook.

The square-shaped nook is bright thanks to large rearfacing windows and glass doors that open on to a deck.

Granite or quartz countertops and a large eating bar with dual sinks are the focal point of the kitchen.

The kitchen also comes with an stainless-steel appliance package, full-height kitchen backsplash, soft close cabinet doors and drawers, and a 42-inch upper cabinet.

The kitchen leads to a large mudroom and walk-through pantry.

The main floor also includes a flex room and half bathroom. A front attached, two-car garage is included in the Kennedy.
