Toews still out of action

The Chicago Blackhawks will complete their regular season on Saturday in Detroit without captain Jonathan Toews.

For Toews, it will be the 22nd straight game he’s missed with a concussion.

With the playoffs looming, the news is not good.

“My status hasn’t changed unfortunately,” Toews said Friday to the Chicago Sun-times. “It’s still progressing, I guess. It’s a frustrating thing to let another game go by, but I just don’t feel comfortable that (Saturday) is the right day to get back into it.”
