Berlusconi guest recalls party with strippers
Cash-for-sex trial of ex-pm continues
Showgirls dressed as nuns performed a pole-dancing striptease for Silvio Berlusconi at a “bunga bunga” party at his villa at Arcore, a Milan court heard Monday.
One of the guests, Imane Fadil, 27, said Nicole Minetti, 28, and Barbara Fagioli, 26, performed a dual striptease for the former prime minister at the villa in February 2010.
“We were standing and having a drink at the bar, when Fagioli began performing in the ‘bunga bunga’ room. After 10 minutes she disappeared with Minetti. Then they presented themselves in black nuns’ tunics with a crucifix on their breast and a white veil and did a performance that I never expected.
“They began to throw themselves a round a pol e, dancing a type of Sister Act. Then they stripped down to their underwear and continued to dance about. I was shocked.”
Fadil, a model, was giving evidence at the trial of Berlusconi, 75, in which he is accused of paying for sexual intercourse with an underage prostitute, and of abusing his office by trying to have her released from police custody.
Fadil said Berlusconi stopped the striptease when he saw she was embarrassed and took her on a tour of the villa.
He showed her his office, which was full of gifts for guests. “He gave me a watch with Milan’s coat of arms and some earrings, telling me not to be offended because he knew that women always needed them. Then he gave me an envelope with 2,000 euros and I left.”
Fadile spoke of another occasion when Iris Berardi, a showgirl, performed a striptease dance masquerading as the footballer Ronaldhino, wearing an AC Milan shirt and mask of the player, while she stripped down to her G-string.
Fadil told the court that several women who went to Arcore were paid more for having sex with the former prime minister. She said she knew of two women, one called Joanna and a woman from Guatemala who were paid to have sexual relations with Berlusconi and that “specific payments” were set aside for those who stayed the night at the villa outside Milan.
The model has previously said she was invited to the parties by the television news anchorman Emilio Fede and the show-business agent Lele Mora.
