Graffiti vandals hit two Banff commercial properties

CRIME • Mounties are investigating after the Banff International Hotel, in the heart of Banff, was tagged by vandals on Friday.

Police found graffiti spray-painted on the driveway ramp leading into the parkade and also on a nearby Safeway.

The series of black markings appear to form letters, but are illegible.

It’s believed the culprits struck overnight Thursday.

Police don’t believe the properties were specifically targeted, but are asking anyone with information to contact Banff RCMP.
