Dollars for Dimon
Re: “Dimon: Risks not understood,” June 13.
How incredibly insightful of Jamie Dimon in stating the obvious.
With his explanation of the massive losses at JP Morgan that goes in part, “his traders didn’t understand the risk they took on credit derivatives and hurt the bank,” he tells us that his company is incompetent at the one thing it is supposed to do better than anyone else.
It moves me to ask, what size bonus should he now get for being so forthright? $10 million? $15 million?
Better yet, let’s all show our admiration of his stewardship of JP Morgan and each send him $1.
It’s a sure bet someone so brilliant can make better use of it than we can! Mark Botkin,
