Lone Star a bright spot for pre-owned shoppers

It might have been a dark and gloomy October, but the Lone Star Mercedes-Benz has never shone brighter.

The dealership’s pre-owned department recently celebrated the grand opening of a new showroom that befits the luxury and quality associated with one of the world’s top luxury brands.

“It’s exciting times for us — this is month No. 2 in operating from our brand-new, state-of-the-art pre-owned showroom,” says George Ivanov, pre-owned sales manager.

“The response has been pretty incredible — sales are up 25 per cent, year-to-date,” says Ivanov. “One reason is because the aggressive programs from Mercedes-Benz Canada carried over from the summer, such as 0.9 per cent purchased financing up to 36 months and a certified warranty at no charge to the client.”

To be Mercedes-Benz certified, a pre-owned vehicle undergoes a 150-point inspection, and comes with a seven-year, 160,000-km warranty, 24-hour roadside assistance and a complete service history.

“The value is pretty impressive when it comes to purchasing a pre-owned Mercedes-Benz,” says Ivanov.

To top if off, it’s possible to drive away in a pre-owned Mercedes-Benz for as little as $24,000.

Reaction to the new pre-owned salesroom has been so positive that it’s even received the stamp of approval from custodians of the brand.

“When Mercedes-Benz Canada officials came to visit, I was told we have the best pre-owned showroom in Canada,” says Ivanov.
