Buyers invited to freshen up with Mint
As the new residents of Mint prepare to move next week, two new show homes open today to show potential home buyers what these fresh new townhomes are all about.
Mint is a 129-townhome development by Jayman Modus in the southeast community of New Brighton.
On display will be a 1,662-square-foot Karma model and a 1,234-square-foot Serendipity floor plan. A third floor plan, Bliss, with a little more than 1,500 square feet, is also available at Mint.
“It will look phenomenal,” says Sandy Perron, area sales manager for Mint.
All have three floors, with the entrance and garage on the ground level, the great room and kitchen on the second level and the bedrooms on the uppermost level.
The Karma has three bedrooms on the upper level and a den on the ground level next to the double car garage. It features an upper-floor laundry, too, for the ease of the residents.
The Serendipity, a two-bedroom condo, has a single car garage and a full driveway to hold another car.
Prices start at $270,000 including GST, and condo fees start at $138 per month.
“This community is really going to be a community starting on Monday, because our first owners will move in,” says Perron.
These recent weeks have been busy with orientation meetings prior to move-in.
“You see the smiles on their faces because they get to spend the holidays in their new homes,” says Perron. “One customer, she’s a teacher, all she said was, ‘I just want my couch and a Christmas tree and it will be perfect!’ ”
Of the 23 buildings, two are complete and will be fully occupied by the holidays.
Ten more buildings are under construction.
“Our goal is to be complete by the end of next summer (2013),” says Perron. “We’ll have a variety of quick-possession homes and homes where people can still make selections.”
The official grand opening of the new show homes will be held in January.
Show home hours are Mondays to Thursdays, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., and weekends and holidays from noon to 5 p.m.
