Dimitry Toukhcher was working in retail sales when he hatched the idea for a new business venture: a company of tailors that would bring their services to the client, wherever they worked or resided.

“Everything about this just made sense,” he says. The demand was there and today his business, LGFG Fashion House, continues to grow.

The company, begun here in 2010, now has eight loca- tions, including every major Canadian city. There is also a Paris location.

“In our first 12 months, we had revenue of over $1 million. We’re starting our third year now and we’ve doubled every year since,” says Toukhcher.

“As we’ve kind of grown our Canadian market, and there’s still opportunity, we’re also going to be growing very aggressively across Europe over the next year and a half.”

The company name comes from the saying “when you look good, you feel good.”

Toukhcher says he realized most professional men, or men in general, don’t care to shop or don’t have the time. The concept for LGFG Fashion House made buying suits and sportcoats hassle-free.

“We bring fabric right into the office and we meet with them one-on-one right in their office and we measure them in the office,” he said. When the garment is ready, staff will deliver it, too.

“So, for the man who does not like to shop or does not have time to shop, we offer a come-to-you service,” said Toukhcher, whose clients include successful entrepreneurs, politicians, NHL players, lawyers and bankers.

The company, which offers tailoring services in both design and alterations, also caters to female clients.

LGFG Fashion House is a full-service clothier in all types of clothing — suits, shirts, sport coats, business casual, smart casual, as well as custom shoes.
