Red Cross invisible

Re: “Where the money goes,” Letter, July 16.

I wonder where all of the millions of dollars that have been donated to the Red Cross for flood relief have been used. I have seen Samaritan’s Purse, the provincial government, the food bank and the many volunteers on TV. Many of our businesses have stepped up with matched donations and there have been many projects such as Come Hell or High Water T-shirts.

The Red Cross has collected millions and yet they have not shown any presence to the public. Many victims can’t wait for assistance. They need the help now.
