Anne Rinke, what planet have you been living on for 31/2 weeks? Did you not read the newspapers or have you missed it being said endlessly on radio and television?

There is no such thing as flood insurance coverage anywhere in Canada. Your rather smug declaration that people who live near rivers should buy flood insurance, and then they’d be covered, smacks somewhat of Marie Antoinette’s apocryphal “let them eat cake.”
