Tina Turner weds for second time

nuptial • Tina Turner has married her longtime partner Erwin Bach at a private ceremony in Switzerland, according to published reports.

Municipal official Hannes Friess confirmed that the Private Dancer singer married Bach at a quiet civil ceremony on the banks of Lake Zurich “a few days ago.”

The 73-year-old, formerly married to Ike Turner, became a Swiss citizen in April and will celebrate the union with a Buddhist ceremony and 120 guests at the couple’s estate south of Zurich, the London Sun said.

She has been with Bach, 57, a German record executive, since the 1980s after splitting with Turner in 1978.
