July 21: Muslim Families Network Society is organizing a food/clothes distribution event for underprivileged children and families in our community. Last year, MFNS conducted two similar food and clothing distribution events and served over 2,300 community members. July 24: Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church at 8007 Bowness Rd N.W. invites everybody for the Community Supper from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., for a free nutritious meal. Children are be- ing cared for by the Kids Care Club.

July 26: Itar/Dinner for the families in need — registration needed; 8:45 p.m. (actual fast ending time is 9:28 p.m.) at Marlborough Park Community Center — 6021 Madigan Drive N.E.; by the Muslim families Network Society

July 27: St. Mark and St. Philip Anglican Church, 1802 33 Ave. S.W. is holding a gigantic garage sale, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., featuring, household goods, kids and baby clothing, sports equipment, gardening equipment, books and much more.
