Cat loses eye after being shot by pellet gun
A cat in Lethbridge lost its eye after being shot with a pellet gun, and officers are now searching for the culprit.
Police say the cat was rushed to the veterinarian’s office after it returned home with an eye injury in the 1600 block of 5A Avenue.
The eye had to be removed after the veterinarian discovered a pellet during surgery.
It is believed the cat was shot between late Sunday and early Monday, and police were notified Wednesday.
