Riverstone of Cranston is a scenic community in southeast Calgary master planned by Brookfield Residential. The community is noted for its natural beauty with the Bow River and Fish Creek Provincial Park just a short walk away. Riverstone is divided into four market segments. CALBRIDGE HOMES
This award-winning builder’s top pick by buyers in Riverstone of Cranston is a floor plan area manager Glenda Ell calls a “great value home.” The Hennessey II is a 2,750 square foot model with four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms along with a threecar garage. It’s offered in French Country or Tudor architecture.
“The home comes with the walkout, vinyl deck picket railing, stone columns to the top of the rail complete with soffit and faschia,” says Ell, adding there are “lots of beautiful triple pain windows in the home.”
The home offers an eyecatching sense of arrival with a dropped foyer.
“(There’s an) L-shaped kitchen with a flush eating bar on an oversized centre island, lots of kitchen cabinets including a separate butler’s pantry, all with granite or quartz countertops,” Ell says. The home has a side-drive triple car garage. This model is also part of the builder’s offering at another community in south Calgary — Dressage in Silverado.
“Customers like the versatile plan with three or four bedroom options, and options for openconcept with less rooms, or a more formal look on the main floor,” says area manager Jodi Hodgson. In addition to the great room on the main floor, there’s also a bonus room that is “good for families with younger kids,” Hodgson adds. “An elegant Tudor exterior with a large deck and patio on the walkout, creates great outdoor living spaces for families or entertaining.”

ALBI HOMES
For Albi Homes, the sales centre favourite in Riverstone is a 1,810-square-foot Carmini bungalow in a charming French Chateaux elevation.
“The triple side car garage, (square footage) of the home, tall ceiling height and the walkthrough laundry feature is the key combination that makes this house so popular,” says area manager Bryan Dell.
There’s also a 182-square-foot rear deck located off the middle of the home.
This model boasts a soaring 10-foot main floor ceiling that jumps up to 11 feet in the great room.
“The walk-through laundry feature is an area of the house our clients really enjoy,” Dell says. “The laundry room is connected with a pocket door to the (walk-in closet in the master bedroom), which makes it convenient to put away all the washed clothes.”
