Nolan Park launch features towns that back onto green

- JOSH SKAPIN

Stylish town houses backing onto a sprawling green space are set to join the landscape in northwest Calgary’s Nolan Hill.

Sales open at Nolan Park by Cardel Lifestyles at noon today. The company also has multi-family projects in various stages of development in Auburn Bay, Sage Hill, Cranston and Panorama Hills.

Nolan Park’s name is a hat tip to the development’s prime location, backing onto a 17 acre (seven hectare) park, says sales and marketing manager Brad Logel.

“Everybody likes to have open space,” says Logel. “And 17 acres is no small park. Everyone wants to back onto a park and our development does.”

Nolan Hill is master-planned by United Communities that offers town houses, laned homes and front-attached garage homes.

Nolan Park will contain 123 town houses with double, tandem and single-car garage plans. Pricing is to start from the low $300,000s.

There are three styles of town houses that have small variations depending on where they’re located on the block. These town houses range from 1,263 to 1,577 developed square feet.

“We’ve tried our best to offer a townhome for every person,” says Logel.

These floor plans come in either three bedroom and two and a half bathroom orientations or two master bedrooms with two and a half bathrooms.

All town houses feature ninefoot ceilings on the main floor, laundry on the top level and a patio deck. The kitchens come with a five-piece appliance package, softclose cabinets and a pantry closet or cabinet.

These town houses aren’t only attractive on the inside but also have a plenty of appeal from the curb, says Logel.

“The exteriors look really sharp,” he says, adding this means great colour and detail. Every plan includes Hardie Board siding.

Beyond the town houses, Nolan Park offers a location that Logel calls “very desirable.”

This extends to Nolan Hill’s connectivity to some of the city’s major routes and its long of amenities nearby.

There are a number of shopping developments, notes Logel. “We’ve got it covered now. It’s not like, ‘some day it’ll be great.’”

A sales centre for the development is at 355 Nolan Crest Heights N.W. It’s open 2 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and noon to 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays. For more information, visit cardellifestyles.com/nolan-park
