Woman dies after falling from overpass

A 51- year- old woman has died after falling Wednesday from an overpass on Crowchild Trail S. W.

She fell from the crossing near 54th Avenue and landed on the roof of a northbound sedan, police said. The incident happened at about 4: 30 p. m.

Police said the 36- year- old driver of the sedan called 911. She was unhurt.

Witnesses are asked to call police at 403- 567- 4000.
