Country singer dies at home

Police say country singer Daron Norwood has been found dead in his Texas apartment. Hereford police spokesman Capt. Kirsten Williams said Thursday that investigators do not suspect foul play in Norwood’s death. He was 49. Williams says a cause of death was pending. Norwood’s landlord found his body Wednesday afternoon. Norwood was last seen Tuesday night with friends. Williams says the body had no signs of trauma. His 1995 album was Ready, Willing and Able.
